Must Have Social Media Management Templates
Chances are if you are a social media manager or you work with clients as a service provider you have started to realize that you produce similar assets for clients time and time again.
You meet a prospective client – you send them a proposal, you sign the client so you send them a welcome guide, and it goes on.
These processes have become second nature to you, so why not have templates that truly make life easier too?
I don’t know about you but I am in the business of streamlining my processes and saving as much time as I can. There’s also no point in reinventing the wheel every single month when your time is so valuable.
Enter your top five social media agency templates.
You’ll want to have these on hand so you can customize them on the fly or so you can have other team members complete them. Let me share my top five agency templates that every social media manager will want to have in their toolkit. It’s not enough just to have these templates, you’ll want to ensure they are high-converting, data driven and a sure-fire way for your client to realize and understand the value you bring to the table.
High- Converting Proposal
Goodbye basic proposal template. You’ll want your client proposal to be high-converting! This is the prospective client’s first introduction to you so the goal is to stand out, showcase what you bring to the table, give them an intro into you and how you run things, and make them say “where do I sign?”
Confetti Popping Welcome Package
They’ve signed! Yay! Now we need to give the lay of the land. Your welcome package should answer any FAQs, outline your processes and next steps and make them feel like they’ve just made the best decision for their brand! After all, they are investing a pretty penny with you. If you charge a premium you need to show them they are fully supported.
Deep Dive Strategy Guide
Now that the intros are complete, the real work begins! The strategy guide is going to give them an insight in your overarching plans and helps them see your vision. I like to go wide but also granular with my planning in strategy guides and show them their new bio, highlights, content pillars, etc!
Data Driven End of Month Report
One a month we send off insights and analytic round ups of all our client platforms. What you don’t want to do is just send screenshots or graphs with no analysis. We need to help our clients understand what is performing, what we need to work on, and next steps to create more visibility, engagement – or whatever their goal is. I also love to track month over month progress for clients so they see the value in workigh with us.
Off-boarding Package (I don’t have a fancy name for this, except, Ciao for now😅!)
You aaaaaaalways want to end on good terms because you never know who your client could refer to you or what they may say about you to their network. No matter the circumstance, send your client off with best regards and full support. This means you may have to show them how to access accounts, download assets, etc.
I’ve spent over five years perfecting my social media agency resources. But – oh how I wish that when I started I had a bit more direction on what clients want to see!
