My agency has been booked out for over a year. I don’t actually sell agency offers because aligned clients seem to flow in at exactly the right time.

BUT – this wasn’t always the case.

I hired waaaaay before I was “ready” …

All I knew was that there were some things I didn’t want to be doing but I knew I needed to offer them to serve my clients.

So I hired. I had NO idea what to expect.

There wasn’t a fancy on-boarding, there wasn’t a system, there wasn’t even a team meeting 😅.

It went kinda like.. okay so we’re doing this.

And looking back I am so glad I made that decision and didn’t want until I felt “ready” to hire.

Because it allowed me to:

⚡️Serve my clients in a better way by doing the tasks that I loved
⚡Scale my business beyond where I was by taking on more clients
⚡Launch Glow Getter Academy + and other courses to help other Social Media Managers

Now my hiring and onboarding processes have changed a LOT, thank goodness 🤣.

But — Business doesn’t have to be perfect to take the next step.

All you need to know is that you want more. And follow that feeling.

There is unofficially one week left of summer and I can already feel the shift. * I know, I know 💔*

I’m seeing all the ads for fall clothing, back to school supplies, and the masterclasses are up and coming to rev up for fall launches.

✨We’re ending the season of recharge.

Taking time off this month was so necessary for me. I’ve been on constant go mode for a while and I could feel the build up. If you continue to push and push you burn out. Plain and simple.

Everyone else that has rested and enjoyed beach days and time with friends is coming back from this season renewed and recharged. And you don’t want to burn out going into a refreshing season like fall.

When you neglect yourself and your need for s p a c e you keep going until you crash.

So this is my PSA - if you haven’t taken any time away this summer for you, even an afternoon off, a spontaneous day trip, or just escaping your computer for laughs, margs, and tacos — do it.

I promise you all the content can wait. It will all be there when you return. And you’ll come back bigger than ever. 💓
